We use data to provide and secure the service, manage accounts, process billing, support institutions, generate analytics, comply with legal obligations, and improve platform reliability.
5. Legal Basis and Consent
Where required, we process personal data based on consent, contractual necessity, legitimate interests, and legal obligations. Institutions are responsible for obtaining valid consent where legally required for student/guardian data.
6. Data Sharing
We do not sell personal data. We may share data with trusted service providers (for hosting, email, messaging, payments, analytics, support), and when required by law, court order, or regulatory request.
7. Cross-Border Processing
Data may be processed in locations where our infrastructure or service providers operate. We implement reasonable safeguards for such processing as required under applicable law.
8. Data Retention

ClassBoard is intended for educational institutions. Institutions are responsible for ensuring lawful collection and sharing of student data, including guardian consent where required.
11. Your Rights
Subject to applicable law, you may request access, correction, update, export, or deletion of your data. For institution-managed student records, requests may need to be routed through the institution administrator.
